Vintage gravure, plate 71 from "Urformen der Kunst" ["Art Forms in Nature"] by Karl Blossfeldt, 2nd edition 1929. Printed on sheet 9.5 x 12 inches (24x30 cm) with plate number lower right. Print size approximately 10 x 7 inches (25x18 cm) or the reverse.   (Ref# 071)

The image depicts:
a. Sanguisorba canadensis. Canadian Great Burnet. Stem with stipula enlarged 8 times.
b. Vincetoxicum fuscatum. Tame Poison. Lower stem with young leaves enlarged 15 times.
