Half plate daguerreotype of a boy in tartan costume and wearing a fancy hat with thistle emblem. With hand coloring, in full leather case.   ( Inventory# ia808 )

The boy's tartan cape has been colored extensively with red and another color, since faded which I assume was green. On the table beside him rests a toy horn.

A quality image, highlights appear just slightly overexposed.
