French larger-than-half plate daguerreotype of a mother struggling with lively child. Housed in original passe-partout mount with gilt border, front glass has been replaced. Overall dimensions of mount 8.25 x 6.75 inches (21x17 cm).   ( Inventory# ib276 )

This amazing, large French plate has what appear to be some brushing marks at the edges, a few through the bottom third of plate in the area of the mother's skirt are not visible in the scan.
