Whole plate tintype of a girl cuddling a happy dog.   ( Inventory# ib502 )

Plate is in excellent condition. Surface is glossy with only a few light scratches; some light bends at center in right third of the image.

The plate was evidently housed in an oval frame at some point and there are light traces of an oval mounting around the edges. Two black marks below the girl to right are original imperfections in the emulsion, not damage.
