Sixth plate horizontal post-mortem view of a man, with applied color in flesh tone. Housed in a full leather case with loose pad. Also included with the image is a small lapel? flag on pin found with it.   ( Inventory# id536 )

I have no idea of the significance of the small lapel-like flag found with this image or whether it is period. The black pin inside the flag appears to me to be modern, not 19th-century. The flag measures something under 2.5 x 1 inches (2x6 cm).

Condition: Glass was replaced on this image and the plate appears to be pristine in condition.
