Vintage albumen print showing an American indian woman and child, photographed in Paris by the anthropologist Roland Bonaparte circa 1885. On period board about 16 x 12 inches (40x31 cm), titled on mount below image "Collection anthropologique du Prince Roland Bonaparte" and in lower right corner "Peaux-Rouges" [Red Skins]. With ornate blindstamp in image lower left reading "Collection Prince Roland Bonaparte". Print size 8.75 x 6.5 inches (22x17 cm).
