Group of three cabinet-card format albumen prints showing native types of Tunis circa 1890, by J. Garrigues. On orange mount i printed front "AG Portrait Album / Photographie Garrigues Tunis" and on reverse "J. Garrigues / Photographe de S. A. le Bey de Tunis [J. Old inscriptions in ink on reverse of cards identify the images as:
"Mauresque de qualite se promennant (Costume de ville)" - ["Moorish upper-class woman taking a walk (Town Costume)"]
"Soldat du Bey utilisant ses loisirs" - ["Soldier of the Bey using his spare time" - He appears to be knitting!]
"Almei (Danseuse)" - ["Almei (Dancer)"].

Some fading to images, stains to card backs.
