Vintage gravure, plate 109 from "Urformen der Kunst" ["Art Forms in Nature"] by Karl Blossfeldt, 2nd edition 1929. Printed on sheet 9.5 x 12 inches (24x30 cm) with plate number lower right. Print size approximately 10 x 7 inches (25x18 cm) or the reverse.   (Ref# blossfeldt_109)

The image depicts:
a. Andromeda floribunda. Lily-of-the-Valley Tree, Free-flowering Andromeda. Flowers enlarged 6 times.
b. Vaccinium corymbosum. Common or Swamp Blueberry. Flower enlarged 20 times.
c. Acanthus mollis. Common or Soft-leaved Bear's Breech. Inner parts of flower enlarged 5 times.
