Vintage albumen print circa 1870 from a collection of British photographic society images, view of man seated beside a country stream. Mounted on period folio sheet approx. 13.5 x 20 inches (34x51 cm), titled at bottom in pencil "Dovedale Derbyshire, Prize 1870 / F. S. Schwabe Esq." Print size 8 x 10 inches (20x26 cm).
Print clean and in very good condition. Sheet has wear, dirt and tears at outer edges.
