Sixth plate daguerreotype of a gent with his dog, housed in a full case with pad imprint "BY WALKER POUGHKEEPSIE". Probably the work of Samuel Lear Walker who was listed as daguerreian in Poughkeepsie NY 1849-50.   ( Inventory# ib282 )

Nice image of a very alert dog. His collar seems to bear a small bell. A very light indentation in plate in upper right.
