French sixth plate oval daguerreotype of a child with doll, circa 1845. Housed under the original curved cover glass in a small blue-painted from with framer's label on reverse for "A La Perfection. N. 2, rue de La Feuillade, N. 2 / Près la place des Victoires / Fabrique des Cadres / Et Passepartouts en tous genres. / Fait l'Encadrement et la Réparation de Meubles. / Paris." Overall dimensions with frame 3.75 x 3 inches (9x8 cm).   ( Inventory# ib829 )

A sweet image, with a doll that appears to be in some sort of regional costume. A touch of blue tinting at bottom of image.
