Sixth plate daguerreotype of two brothers circa 1850. With applied hand coloring in blue and red. Housed in a full leather case with divided spine, back of case contains a period inscription in pencil identifying the sitters as "Henry C. Botsford Ag. 22" and "Chas. B. Botsford AG. 20".   ( Inventory# ic673 )

A splendid crisp image in superb condition. The table cloth at left has been colored overall in blue and red, blue color appears to be applied to the sitter's ties, and light red to their cheeks.
