Cabinet-card format albumen print of a Russian peasant woman raking in a field, attributed J. Daziaro circa 1880s. With beautiful and extensive applied hand-coloring in many colors. Card unsigned but found with another of identical format which was stamped on reverse "J. Daziaro, Moscou et St.-Petersbourg." Inscribed in ink bottom front "Tenue de basse russe" and on reverse "Tenue de la basse russe" [Garb of of the low Russian].   ( Inventory# ic851b )
