Roughly CDV-sized tintype showing a bright young boy with model boat. Circa 1870s. Print size 3.75 x 2.5 inches (10x6 cm).   ( Inventory# id256a )

The flag on boat seems to have 13 stripes, although I am not positive whether it is American. Most tintypes at this time would have been of American manufacture.

Overall in fine condition with some waviness in the emulsion at right edge.
