Double Case with Berries

Double sixth plate size thermoplastic case holding two ambrotypes of a personable husband and wife.
An attractive case in superb condition - snaps tight, opens smoothly, clean glossy finish. While not an expert I would classify this case as near-mint, there are two 1/4 inch hairline imperfections on side by the top clasps, some small bits of molding loss at the edges, and what appears to be a scratch in the foliage on reverse.
The pad facing images is rich and undamaged, images are clean, crisp and attractive with some light mat abrasion along lower edge, applied color in blush and gilt.
