Large unmounted gelatin-silver print ca. 1920, pictorialist study of "Old Heidelberg" by "F. Cross", as identified in pencil on reverse. Print size 11.5 x 14.5 inches (29x37 cm).   ( Inventory# ib26 )

A pictorialist view which is ultimately rather disturbing and almost ominous in its gloom. Condition of print surface is excellent. A few of the rooftops in center seem to have been lightly tinted brown, there are a few light brown spots on print and some brown staining along extreme top edge right and left edge center. Reverse has glue residue.
