Sixth plate daguerreotype showing a father and child in cheek-to-cheek, or rather forehead-to-cheek, pose. Anonymous image circa 1855. Housed in a black pushbutton case.   ( Inventory# id307 )

A crisp image with light applied color in blush. Case is intact and attractive, closes cleanly although it no longer "snaps" shut.
