Quarter plate daguerreotype of two young men posed arm-in-arm, by Edward Z. and Israel B. Webster, Louisville, Kentucky circa 1851. Housed in full period case with repaired spine, case pad impressed "Webster & Bro. / Artists / Louisville."   ( Inventory# id540 )

According to Craig's Daguerreian Registry, the Webster's Louisville studio was opened in 1851.

Image is crisply rendered and in superb condition. Some uneven discoloration to exterior of case.
