Olive-toned gelatin-silver print circa 1900 showing an elaborate French display of dolls using a variety of Singer brand sewing machines. Print size 4.75 x 6.75 inches (12x17 cm). Price: $90. ( Inventory# id389 )
A small sign in the display reads "Travail execute par la Machine Singer" [Work done on the Singer Machine], and a view of Singer's factory is seen on the wall in upper right. I assume the dolls themselves have also probably been clothed courtesy of the Singer Sewing Machine.
Overall in excellent condition. There is a small crease in upper right corner and some light silvering-out.
