An unusual subject, this image in good condition, barring a few of the usual light scratches and flaking at extreme edges. The bottle being poured is in motion and has blurred slightly while the container below it is crisp and steady. Tinting has been applied to several of the chemical bottles and one has gilt on its label. An enigmatic "JIN" is inscribed in gilt upper right. This image comes from an album, also inscribed in gilt, "Miss.. Ella.. Northrup.. Newton.. Mich.. 1876.."
