Half plate daguerreotype of a man and wife, with applied tinting and gilt. Housed in a half case.   ( Inventory# gd34 )

A crisply accomplished full-length pose with heavy tinting. Mat and case style place this piece in North or South America, but otherwise provide little information. Quality of the plate is reminiscent of the daguerreotypist C. D. Fredericks.
