Paired sixth plate daguerreotypes of two bright young lads in dashing garb, possible indications of their acquaintance with the footloose, seafaring life.

Housed in a black pushbutton case with mother-of-pearl front and gilt-embossed leather reverse. Hinge is split but could be easily repaired with leather.
