CDV-format albumen print of two Peruvian indian women, ca. 1870. With studio imprint for "Courret Hermanos, 197 Calle de la Union (Mercaderes) Lima [Peru]" on reverse and beneath the image on front.   ( Inventory# ia925 )

Tones faded overall and some white speckling in the negative. There is a pencil inscription on reverse which I cannot decipher. A variant pose of the same two women is illustrated in "Early Peruvian Photography" (1985), fig. 16, identified as "Indian Women from the Interior of Peru".
