Sixth plate daguerreotype of a husband and wife, anonymous American ca. 1855. Housed in a full red leather "Memory's Leaflet" case, Berg 5-10G. Red silk pad is a replacement, gilt paint on exterior of book "leaves" is tarnished and worn.   ( Inventory# ib346 )

A very nice image, faces are light in tone but with good definition. Some unevenness in tarnish on the woman's face. Her bonnet appears to have a hanging cloth part attached to it.
