Sixth plate ambrotype a gent seated in rocking chair reading a newspaper, with handwritten period paper inserted behind the image reading "Chas. P. Murray / Ambrotypist, Chester County / Pennsylvania".   ( Inventory# ib356a )

This interesting juxtaposition, as found, may indicate that the ambrotype itself is of Charles Murray; in any case the image is quite interesting. It was found with a similar ambrotype of the same man posed in a different rocking chair, which will be available to the high bidder if desired.
