Ninth plate tintype of an infant held by woman who is shown in profile in background, twice.   ( Inventory# ib627 )

It appears that this tintype was clipped from a multiple exposure plate that produced several images at once, but in such a way that parts of the woman appear once at right side and again at left. Who was this mysterious duplicated woman?

Some light wear and a few scratches.
