Sixth plate daguerreotype of a very solid-looking man holding his coat and wearing a rustic hat. Housed in a full case with divided spine and a loose pad.   ( Inventory# ic242 )

This subdued but thick-boned gent seems to sport a black eye on his right side. He does not look someone you would want as your opponent in a boxing match.

Overall condition is excellent, with a few hairline scratches that do not stand out under normal viewing.
