Quarter plate daguerreotype of patience-tried mother huddling with her two tired children, anonymous American circa 1855. Housed in a full pressed-paper case with divided spine.
Blue tinting applied to dress of the adorable girl to right.
Overall excellent condition, with a copper spot and thin abrasion visible in background, right of mother's head.
