Sixth plate daguerreotype of a lovely lady, with light applied tinting in pink. Housed in rare, excellent condition leather book style case with patriotic "E Pluribus Unum" design (Berg 4-15).
A charming image.
Other than light wear at edges, case is in superb condition. The patriotic eagle-and-shield imprint is crisp and unworn, hinge undamaged, clasp in fine working order.
