Lovely sixth plate daguerreotype of a girl in white dress circa 1855. With light applied color in pink. Housed in a full leather case with wear and divided spine. Sitter identified behind image in case as "Sarah M. H. Smith / 1855".   ( Inventory# id533 )

Condition: This consignment image has not been removed from protector and seals are probably still unbroken. There is some dirt on underside of glass but no obvious flaws on image itself are noted.
