CDV-format photograph circa 1905, showing an Austrian couple by photographer August Sander, Linz. Card imprinted front "Aug. Sander / Photogr.Kunst-Anstalt / Linz - Landstr. 59-61" and verso "Aug. Sander / Kunstgestalt fur moderne Photographie und Malerie...Linz..." along with miniatures of 1903-4 prize medals from Linz, Paris, Leiipzig and Wels.   ( Inventory# ie321 )

Later to be viewed as one of the most important photographers of his era, August Sander became full owner of his Linz studio in 1904, relocating from LInz to Cologne in 1909.
