Roughly CDV-sized tintype showing two top-hatted men in front of an American flag circa 1870. Print size 3.75 x 2.5 inches (10x6 cm).   ( Inventory# ie46 )

Although extreme top of flag is not completely shown in image, a best guess is that its somewhat irregular stars form five rows of 7,8,7,8, and 7 stars, which would make this the 37-star flag in used from 1867 to 1877.
