Fantastic cabinet-card format sepia photograph depicting a woman dressed as a Christmas tree, including numerous boughs and old-fashioned Christmas ornaments. Circa 1900 by Carl Kuskop, Germany. With imprint front "Carl Kuskop / Wilster / am Markt 14" and on reverse with a depiction of Kuskops photographic studio, as well as text "Carl Kuskop / Wilster i/ Holstein. / Am Markt 14. / Diplom [Award] Kiel 1896..."   ( Inventory# ie49 )

The reverse image of Kuskop's studio shows a glass-enclosed area for photographic lighting. It's signs read "Gegr. 1892 / Photographische Anstalt / Carl Kuskop..." ("Founded 1892 / Photographic Establishment / Carl Kuskop").
