Sixth plate ambrotype of a child posed with an interesting toy carriage, horse and rider, ca. 1858. As found in full pressed-paper case with repaired spine, portion of a photographer's card found in case behind image reads "A. W. Judson / Photograph and Ambrotype Artist / 145 Irving Block / 2D Door South of Milford Bank, Milford [Mass.]."   ( Inventory# ib466 )

The card behind image is in "like new" condition, although I have no other reason to doubt that it is 19th century. A crisp focus reveals the details of her toy.
